Meet the Team
Patricia K. Dawson, Au.D. F.A.A.A., CCC-A
Patricia Dawson, Au.D., joined our clinic in May of 2008 as a doctoral student in Audiology and has continued with us as a doctor of audiology since that time.
Dr. Dawson completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science Disorders at the University of South Florida. She then continued at the University of South Florida to complete a doctoral degree in Audiology. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Dawson received a University Fellowship and the Dean’s Excellence Fellowship. She completed her doctoral studies with a published laboratory research work in the field of cochlear implants and speech perception.
Dr. Laura Ramirez
Dr. Laura Ramirez joined our practice in April 2018. Dr. Ramirez received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in 2010 in Gainesville, Florida. She went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree, also from the University of Florida, in 2014. Dr. Ramirez was employed with an Otolaryngology group in Atlanta, Georgia prior to moving to Florida.
Dr. Ramirez is a native to the Orlando area. She enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. Dr. Ramirez works part-time with our practice, and devotes the rest of her week to playing with her sweet two-year-old. She looks forward to helping you with all of your hearing and balance needs.
Dr. Leslie Rosegger
Leslie Rosegger joined our clinic in October 2016 as Audiologist.
Dr. Rosegger came to Florida from Virginia where she received her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. In Florida she worked over 15 years before studying for her Doctorate degree with AT Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic medicine, graduating in 2004. In Lakeland, she began at Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center, then joined Clark & Daughtry Medical Group, and finally Lakeland Regional Health. She has over 30 years’ experience working as an Audiologist in a medical practice. Dr. Rosegger has 3 grown children and lives in Lakeland.
Dr. Amy McGrath
Dr. Amy McGrath joined our practice in September 2017. She received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida State University in 2013. Dr. McGrath went on to receive her Doctorate of Audiology at Salus University in Elkins Park, PA in 2017. She completed her residency year at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ in the Otolaryngology department.
Dr. McGrath is a native to the Philadelphia area. She currently resides in the Orlando area with her dog, Rowlf. Dr. McGrath is located at our Clermont and Haines City offices, where she focuses on adult and pediatric diagnostics, auditory evoked potential testing, vestibular testing, and aural rehabilitation. She is passionate about providing the best possible care and outcomes for her patients.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of West Florida. She attended Emory University in Atlanta for her PA studies, where she was trained in all general medical and surgical subspecialties. She furthered her medical education at Yale University/Norwalk Hospital Surgical Residency Program. There she concentrated on the surgical subspecialties and medical management of surgical patients, including Otolaryngologic patients.
Upon finishing her residency, she remained in academia at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes Hospital where she was part of the Vascular Surgical Team. Upon moving to Florida, she transitioned to private practice in Sarasota.
Prior to joining our practice, Kelly moved to Winter Haven where she reared three daughters, Gabriela, Natalie, and Olivia. In her free time, she enjoys snow skiing, travel, reading, and all things beach related.
